We are a household that has always had parakeets. My kids have grown up with them. We find ourselves in the position that we will be moving soon and both my teens will be entering college. Their schedules have changed so drastically that they are finding it hard to put in the time these sweet little birds need. We would like to find them a wonderful home. This home should not have any children or any other pets. (Other birds ok)
It is our highest priority to find them a home where there will be loved and cared for. We reserved the right to say that we do not feel it is a good fit.
All four birds must be rehomed together and kept together. The aquarium system is a very good one with perfectly clear glass, 2 long perches and a hinged mash lid to make it easy for taking the birds in and out. All four birds are very friendly. One of the birds has a small disability. one of her wings hangs down a little bit. This makes her all the more lovable and endearing. We Rescued her from a pet shop that was going to feed her to a snake. She is more skittish than the other three.
None of these birds bite. we have had biters before- and these are not it. They’re very nice little creatures.
