The owner was originally domiciled in the hamlet of Riddle ( Shiloh ), NC. She graduated CCHS in 1965. The charm bracelet is solid sterling silver and the lapel pin is not. The condition is as new. The charm bracelet chain is like 6.5" long. The owner was a small woman. I knew the owner way well for 43 years. She passed in March 2013. We lived most of our lives up here in Vermont. OBX was our second home. I am now 77 years gone by and it is time to make sure someone that cares owns it. I will supply the past owners name after purchase.

The significance of the dating of 1965 means she began HS in 1961. She distinctly remembers there was only one black student in her class. The majority of all the African Americans from that county attended Marian Anderson HS ( previously Sawyer Creek HS ). I believe that school is still being used as a grade school (?).

Purchase will be completed via my Paypal invoice sent to the prospective buyers email. It is a commercial account used by my past contractors business. Therefore, the invoice can be paid via card.
