Total Tech Professionals, a leading corporate audio/visual rental company, is expanding in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. We are seeking reliable, customer-focused On-Site Corporate A/V Technicians for on-demand event coverage supporting local and national business clients.
This is an on-call, supplemental freelance opportunity. Work volume fluctuates with client event demands—you might handle a couple of jobs a month during lighter periods or a couple of jobs a week during peak times. Hours are not guaranteed, making this an ideal fit for gig workers, freelancers, or anyone seeking extra income with evening availability.

Key Responsibilities
Transport, set up, test, operate, and tear down A/V equipment (projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, laptops, simple mixers).
Provide professional, polished customer service to corporate event hosts on-site.
Safely store company gear at your location for as long as you are contracted with us.
Submit brief event recaps immediately after job completion to trigger payment.
Strict Requirements & Expectations
Reliable Personal Transportation (CRITICAL): Must have your own dependable, reliable personal vehicle capable of safely carrying equipment (most gear fits in a compact vehicle) and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for event locations.
Availability: Open availability Monday – Friday between 4:30 PM and 9:30 PM to accept dispatched gigs as they come in.
Variable Workload: Understand that job frequency depends on market demand (ranging from 2–3 jobs/month to 2–3 jobs/week). Work is dispatched on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum hours.
Long-Term Equipment Storage: Dedicated, secure space at home to store company gear for the full duration of your time contracted with us.
Technical & Professional Skills:
Proficient understanding of basic event technology and audio/visual setups.
Superb customer service skills and professional business casual appearance.
Laptop with an Intel i5 processor (minimum) & Microsoft PowerPoint (extra pay provided when used).
Mobile hotspot access (extra pay provided when used).
Background Check: Must be able to pass a nationwide background check.
