4 powerfully efficient induction elements are more responsive than gas or electric and offer up to 3,800-Watt of power, so you can easily go from simmer to boil.
Express-Select Electronic Touch Controls are sleek in design and easily go from warm to boil with the touch of your finger.
Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler.
Smooth glass cooktop is sleek in style and easy to clean.
Sensors detect the presence of a pan, so when a pot is removed and the element is still on, the cooktop will automatically turn off.
Indicator lights illuminate when the cooking surface is hot.
Use less energy while you cook with energy-efficient induction technology which heats the pan directly so less heat loss in the cooking process.

We have only had this installed a few weeks ago and have not had much time to cook on it yet. However my husband and I we're watching a pan of water come to a boil so quickly we were amazed. Then later after putting the pasta in the pan we were fascinated by how quickly it returned to a boil. Truth be told we had a little too much water, and too much pasta in too small of a pan. We should have turned the heat down a little but we both stood there and watched while the pan boiled over and water was all over the cooktop. We lifted the pan away, and just as in the video on the Frigidaire website shows the majority of the water spill was wiped up instantly as it did not Scorch to the cooktop at all. We turned the element off and wiped away the rest of the spill so easily. A spill like this on our old glass cooktop would have been much harder to clean. So far we are both very pleased that we have chosen this induction cooktop, I was concerned that the black glass would not look nice set into our Corian countertop. Which is a creamy color, it kind of looks like the color of oatmeal. the Frigidaire induction cooktop looks sleek. I am very pleased
