Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sample Maker to create and test corrugated packaging samples based on design specifications.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working with machinery and packaging materials.
Responsibilities
Operate a sample cutting table to create corrugated box and display samples.
Measure, cut, and organize corrugated materials and sample boards.
Create custom-sized boxes for shipping samples.
Assist with packaging assembly instructions using Adobe Illustrator.
Perform packaging/shipping tests and document results.
Inspect samples for quality and accuracy.
Maintain inventory and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and assist with other projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Industrial Design, Engineering, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
Experience with packaging samples, cutting tables, or manufacturing equipment is a plus.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Background in graphics or related creative field preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow measurements and technical specifications.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move large corrugated sheets and materials.
Valid Driver’s License required.
