GM Differential 3rd Member 3:36 Positraction 3789812 55-62 Corvette 55-64 Chevy in a P Case marked 3789812 with a date code I-291 (November 29th 1961) . The teeth are in good shape on both the pinion & ring gears, The ring gear is marked 1F1 GM 3735390, 11 37 & 9 61, That means the gears are 3:36, The drum is marked 9 28 1B 22158X. The unit turns freely & smoothly, It has been oiled well and there is no surface rust on the inside. IIt will probably need a new front seal and possibly clutch packs (not sure on that and may possibly not) So Therefore it is sold as is. One of the case fins has been trimmed for clearance . The outer case has been cleaned and put in primer to deter any rusting. Local pick up or buyer pays shipping.
