Love photographing people, but not the marketing, lead generation, scheduling, sales, and customer-service side of running a photography business?

We handle client acquisition, booking, marketing, and customer service for sessions booked through Shoott. We create the schedule structure (location options, days & times for your market), you choose where, when and how long you want to shoot, then focus on photographing clients and delivering clean, consistent edits.
⭐️ What you'll photograph:
- 30-minute outdoor, natural-light portrait sessions
- Primarily families, couples, maternity, individuals, and children
- Occasional pets and additional business/brand photography opportunities
⭐️ What we're looking for:
- Confident manual-camera skills in changing natural light
- Reliable autofocus and exposure technique
- Strong client direction, posing, and communication
- Comfortable working with families and children
- Lightroom Classic or comparable RAW editing experience
- Professional Full-frame DSLR or mirrorless system, 24MP+ required
- Reliable communication and 48 to 72-hour gallery turnaround
⭐️ Compensation:
- Guaranteed minimum $100 per active shooting hour, OR 51% of net gallery sales, whichever is higher
- Minimum $100 per booked active shooting hour ($70 shooting + $30 light editing)
- Current average take home for an active hour of shooting across all markets is ~ $140 - $160.
- Plus tips: $10-$20 per session on average (which all go to you)!
⭐️ Schedule Expectations:
- Typical weekends: 2–4 sessions/day
- Busy seasons (Mar–May & Sept–Dec): 4–8+ sessions/day
- Ideally, our baseline hope is that you’re available at least one day each weekend for 2–4 active shooting hours.
- Most client demand is on weekends, so consistent Saturday/Sunday availability is important.
- You still choose which dates and locations you book.
This can be a great fit for technically strong photographers who want more paid client work without having to build and operate every part of a photography business themselves.
Strong work matters more to us than how many years you've been in business.
