Northeast Apartments owns a group of apartment buildings in Philadelphia, all close together, and wants an experienced exterminator to run our pest program. Steady part-time: about 16 hrs/week (4 days x 4 hrs), and you set your own schedule. Open to full-time for the right person.
You'll be your own boss: own every pest issue across our units from first call to resolved.
What you'll do:
- Treat and eliminate roaches, mice/rodents, bedbugs and other pests
- Respond to tenant complaints quickly and follow up until solved
- During down time, inspect apartments and common areas and do preventive treatments
- Do the exclusion work yourself: seal holes, gaps and entry points (steel wool, caulk, foam, door sweeps), not just recommend it
- Keep application records per PA rules
Requirements:
- Current PA commercial pesticide applicator certification, Category 11 (Household & Health Related)
- Several years of pest control experience, multifamily strongly preferred
- Proven bedbug experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Honest, organized, comfortable working independently and with tenants
Pay: $25-30/hr depending on experience.
