Hayes Manor Retirement Residence is a small non-profit senior home looking for a Med Tech to join our direct care staff. Someone who can be entrusted with the wellbeing of our residents and who demonstrates a caring approach and attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Administering medicine and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Record and maintain medication records
-Transcribe physician's orders on the appropriate records
- Monitoring the physical, mental and emotional conditions of the residents
- Distributes patient assignments to PCA's (Personal Care Attendants)
- Take and chart vital signs
- Record and maintain medication records
Job Requirements:
- Clean criminal background
Has taken or will take and pass the DHS Medication Course
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or CNA
If hired, applicants will be trained on Medication Administration, Fire Safety and various trainings to meet DHS Regulations of te State of Pennsylvania.
