It’s such high quality, every bit of it. Koch Lowy made many great mid Century Modern lamps and this is one of my favorites. The hood raises and lowers, pivots for different lighting treatments and has a dimmer switch! It functions just as it should, does not need to be rewired. It has no tarnish or corrosion whatsoever. It adjusts height wise from 40 inches tall to 46 inches tall. These were originally intended for reading lamps by the easy chair. The weighted base is 6 1/2 inches wide x 9 inches long.
