I purchased this car in Arizona in 2017 with 120k miles on it.
I have had the oil changed regularly and each time have gotten an oil analysis from Blackstone to confirm that the engine internals are all okay and not wearing out in a funny way.
The good:
- The engine is strong and overall the car is in very good shape and for the past 5 years has barely been driven. (No transmission issues.)
- The driver's airbag recall has been performed.
- It has the large wheels and has two extras
Add-ons:
- Flip out mirror motors (with switch inside the car)
- Dark window tinting
The bad is:
There are a few small dings/dents, which I have shown in the photos.
- When transported a strap buckle was dropped on the hood.
- The paint on the mirrors and grill has oxidized.
- The driver's seat is worn.
- The sunroof got jammed (like these Volvo's do) and so I haven't used it for years, but I have a used one for replacement.
- The clear coat on some wheels has peeled.
- There is a bit of a clunk in the passenger front suspension that goes away as the car is driven, so I am suspect it's in need of new shock/strut, which I have (used).
Additional Parts (sold with the car but not on the car):
- Stock sport body kit (sides, rear skirt, and small trunk spoiler) all in the same gray as the car.)
- Extra turbocharger*
- Extra ECU - Stage 3 tuned
- Extra dash cap (I had planned to get it stitched in Volvo R blue.
- Extra used pair of springs/shocks (I believe I only have 2 but am checking to see if I have the full set.)
- Replacement fog light for the missing one.
(*There is nothing wrong with the turbo in the car but I was planning on adding the Stage 3 tuned ECU and some other upgrades and so bought that turbo for that reason. I believe it had been rebuilt and might have been upgraded (because I don't know why I would have bought a stock one and it has an IPD labeled cover on it), but honestly cannot remember and do not have any paperwork relating to it.)
As far as pricing, I am in no rush to sell and so am testing the waters. It took me 2 years to find this car and I have loved every minute of driving it but it sits under cover in my driveway too much and should go to someone who will drive it regularly and enjoy it. (I have an electric car for around town and we drive one of my wife's two XC70's when we travel, so this beauty only gets about 500 miles of driving each year.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
And if you have ideas about more appropriate pricing, I'm all ears. Just don't be rude about it, please. There's no need for that.
