Hi, I’m Alex. Whether you’re navigating algebra or tackling college calculus, math doesn't have to feel like an uphill battle. With a B.S. in Mathematics, an M.S. in Mathematics in progress, and years of experience as a college adjunct instructor and tutor, I help students turn frustration into genuine confidence. My approach goes beyond memorizing steps for tomorrow's quiz: we focus on building intuitive problem-solving habits that help you excel on exams and understand how the math actually works.
I am currently offering tutoring in:
-Algebra
-Precalculus
-Trigonometry
-Calculus
My rate is $50/hour, and all sessions take place virtually via Zoom - I have a tablet and share my screen as I work problems. A copy of the session notes can be emailed to you after every session.
To get in touch, either find my website (Google "Calcwiz LLC") and follow the instructions on the website or reply to this listing with the course you are taking, the topics you need help with, and the times that work best for you. If the math course you need help with is not listed here, feel free to inquire - I may still be able to help.
All billing is handled through my company, Calcwiz LLC.
