A circa 2015 Intel I5 Skylake processor with 32Gb of DDR3 RAM. Gibgabyte motherboard. One NVMe slot. Four memory slots. Large PSU. Two NICs. CoolerMaster case. Can hold up to 5 3.5" HDD and internal connectivity for 6 drives. Can include a 2Gb AMD GPU.
Using Open Core, I ran macOS with no issues so this will support Windows, Linux, and macOS (if you want to go that route).
Though it's an older processor, it could still work well as a home lab server, JellyFin/Plex server, backup server, etc. According to Claude, it would still work reasonably for AI if a decent GPU was installed in the PCIe slot. Will run Windows 10 decently.
