VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SHORT DOCUMENTARY FILM AND ART EXHIBIT
Pasadena, California
October 31st and November 1st
8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
We are looking for volunteers who would love to be part of something beautiful and meaningful this fall.
We are producing a short documentary film and accompanying art exhibit centered around Black love and the many ways it exists within our families, relationships, friendships, communities, and everyday lives. This project is being created to document, preserve, and celebrate Black love through film, photography, storytelling, and art.
We are looking for kind, dependable people who genuinely enjoy being part of creative and community-centered projects. Volunteers will assist our small production team throughout the shoot with general set support, helping participants, keeping things organized, and making sure the day moves smoothly.
No film or production experience is required. We are simply looking for people who are reliable, have a positive attitude, and would love the opportunity to contribute to something special while connecting with other creatives and members of the community.
At this stage, we do not have a budget for paid volunteer positions. This is an independently produced community project that has begun growing into something much bigger than us, and we would genuinely love to have people involved who believe in what we are creating and want to be part of bringing it to life.
Food and water will, of course, be provided throughout the day.
Filming will take place in Pasadena, CA on October 31st and November 1st from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
If this speaks to you, please reach out with your name, a little about yourself, which date or dates you are available, and the best way to contact you. We would love to have you be part of this project and the community growing around it.
