I play trumpet and keys. I'm interested in forming an ensemble, so I can write arrangements to make it sound like a mini big band/orchestra. You will get paid eventually for the recording sessions. The repertoire will be a mix of jazz fusion and third stream. Some will be jazz standards, and some will be compositions I wrote myself. My influences include Charlie Parker with Strings, Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Miles Davis, Gil Evans, Jimmy Giuffre, Dave Brubeck, Modern Jazz Quartet, Horace Silver, Sun Ra, Weather Report, John Zorn, Bob Brookmeyer, Gunther Schuller, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, and Kamasi Washington.
If you can double, that would be a plus, but the instruments I'm currently seeking are:

- Bassist (preferably able to play both upright and electric)
