My name is Sister Lisa Myers, and I am reaching out to seek your support and partnership for the "End Homelessness Project"—an urgent issue that demands immediate attention and action.
This message is directed to everyone who wishes to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to help them transition from the streets into permanent housing, secure employment, and access essential medical care. To my fellow believers in our Creator and Living God, Jehovah/Yahweh, and His Son, Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, I especially extend this invitation to join us in this important mission. Together, we can address the struggles of those who have lived far too long without shelter in one of the wealthiest countries in the world—the United States of America.
We can no longer turn a blind eye to the growing crisis of homelessness affecting our communities, states, and nations around the globe. Every individual deserves stable and affordable housing, which is essential for contributing meaningfully to society and leading a dignified life.
Homelessness does not discriminate—it could happen to anyone. Recent wildfires in California provide a stark reminder that even affluent neighborhoods are not immune, as hundreds were displaced overnight. The sobering truth is that no one is exempt from this reality. Even throughout history, many of God's people—including Jesus and His disciples—experienced homelessness. As Jesus himself said, "Foxes have dens, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."
We humbly ask for your help and contributions in any way you feel called to serve. Whether through your time, skills, talents, resources, or creative ideas, your support can be a blessing to countless individuals in need. We encourage everyone to contact local city, state, or national officials as well as nonprofit and faith-based organizations to rally behind the End Homelessness Project as we work toward meaningful solutions.
Please take a moment to pray about how you can join this vital cause. Ask God how He may guide and inspire you—whether that means offering financial support, volunteering service, or lending expertise—to help those without homes, whom He loves just as much as He loves each of us.
If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to reach out via email. For those interested in discussing this further through a phone call, please mention that in your email and provide your contact information so we can arrange a time to connect.
