We're seeking an experienced metal framer or qualified installation contractor for a commercial 8feet 6inch long air curtain installation project in Pasadena, CA.
PROJECT DETAILS:
We need a properly supported metal framing structure constructed above an existing Cornell commercial roll-up warehouse door to support a large Berner industrial air curtain.
The air curtain weighs approximately 200–250 lbs (exact weight pending verification). The mounting structure must position the air curtain approximately 17½–18 inches outward from the wall to provide clearance for the roll-up door barrel.
The support structure, attachment methods, and anchors must be suitable for the building and equipment and approved before installation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST BE LOCAL TO PASADENA.
- Extensive experience with metal framing and commercial installation work.
- Appropriate California contractor license and insurance required is a PLUS!
- Must provide your own tools and safety equipment.
- Must have a 20-ft extension ladder, 10-ft A-frame ladder, or suitable lift equipment.
- Compact lift preferred. Any additional lift rental cost must be discussed and approved in advance.
- Must be able to pick up approved materials from Home Depot before beginning work and provide itemized receipts.
- Must be available Saturday, October 17, and capable of completing the approved framing work the same day.
- Must be punctual, professional, and reliable.
COMPENSATION: $300 FIXED LABOR
The electrical work has already been completed. This listing is specifically for the framing and support structure.
