Looking for an entry-level video editor to help create engaging social media content for podcasters, comedians, and other creators. This is a great opportunity for a junior editor or film student to gain hands-on experience working with established online creators with audiences ranging from 1k–400k subscribers.
Responsibilities include:
Cutting engaging, entertaining clips from long-form video footage.
Adding captions, images, and graphics to make clips more dynamic.
Identifying funny, interesting, and attention-grabbing moments worth turning into clips.
Editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Uploading finished content to creator channels.
Requirements:
Basic video editing experience and proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro. DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus.
A good sense of timing, storytelling, comedy, and internet culture.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Examples of previous edits are preferred, including personal projects or school assignments.
Position Details:
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Part-time / Freelance
Location: Remote
Opportunity: Depending on the candidate, this position may also be structured as an internship, making it a good fit for film students or aspiring editors looking to build their portfolio and gain practical experience.
