Selling my 2001 Saturn SC2
-Clean Title
-146,030 Miles
-1.9L DOHC
-Automatic Transmission
-Power Windows
-Aftermarket Stereo
I am selling my car because I am looking for a newer vehicle with more space for trips and traveling now that I have a son. The car has been maintained regularly, and I have done the maintenance myself with help from my father rather than taking it to a dealership.
-Smog: Passed in September 2026.
-Oil changes: Every 3,500 miles or 3 months. This was my daily vehicle for work and school.
-Transmission fluid and filter: Changed every 2 years. Saturns are known for transmission issues, but I have consistently changed the fluid and driven the car with care. Both the engine and transmission are running well.
-Tires: Replaced about a year ago.
-Battery: Less than 2 years old.
There are some issues with the car that I want to be upfront about:
-Rearview mirror: During a recent heat wave, the sun visor touched the rearview mirror and caused it to fall. When I pulled the visor away, the mirror came off with it.
-Sunroof: It has started leaking, and the leak has damaged the headliner.
I am asking $3,850 for the car.
These Saturn SC2s are getting harder to find, especially with a well-maintained transmission. This could be a great opportunity to own one of these increasingly uncommon cars!
I have AAA, so we can use them to complete the title transfer. I can also show you the registration and my ID. Since I have my son, weekends are the best time to meet because I need to arrange for someone to watch him. Weekday meetings are difficult because I work and go to school.
