I’m looking for a new place to call home :)
A bit about me.
I’m 31 years old. I’ve been relearning to walk after a work injury for many years. It’s going well, just slow. I spend most of my time resting and doing intermittent physiotherapy. I get out whenever I’m able and take the bus into town. I love socializing and meeting new people. It might be my favourite hobby. I am also a new Christian which has been a wonderful experience so far :)
A nerdy hobby of mine is studying traditional architecture.
I unfortunately will likely have to get a wheelchair soon to use sometimes whenever I need it. So I need a handicapped accessible place to live. Ground floor preferably so I won’t have any trouble getting out in case of emergency.
I have lived at my current address for 5 years. The reason I’m moving is because my roommate moved, ending our lease. This prompted my landlords decision to sell the house sooner than they were initially planning. They’ve asked me to move by Dec 1st.
I have always paid rent on time or early and treated the place with respect. My landlords will be good references for me.
I am looking for a place to live for several years, maybe more. My income is a worker’s compensation pension. So it’s very reliable.
My budget is preferably around $1000, but could push it to $1100-1200 for the right place.
I’m seeking a new place for anytime between now & December 1st.
