Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team for a quiet apartment complex in Anderson, Indiana. Hablamos español.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires effective leadership skills and the capability to supervise maintenance activities while ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
This position is responsible for all on-site maintenance operations such as HVAC repairs and installation, plumbing repairs, work orders, and any other necessary repairs that may arise. Applicant must have heat and air (preferred journeyman) and plumbing experience and be knowledgeable in all aspects of multi-family maintenance.
Experience:
- Must have experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Perform turns (painting, cleaning, and maintenance) of all vacant units.
- Complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare all vacant units for occupancy.
- Complete preventative maintenance activities.
- Help maintain all common areas of the community.
- Supervise contractors working at the site.
- Must have a good work ethic and be a good team player.
