Assembly experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent people skills, initiative, and a desire to grow with the business.
Kitset Assembly Services is launching in Florida, and we're looking for one of our very first employees to help build the business from the ground up. You'll work directly with the owners, Leslie and Mark Johnson, who bring more than 60 years of combined business and franchise experience.
This isn't a large corporate environment with layers of management. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while helping shape the future of our Florida operation. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work in the field assembling products and serving customers, help develop relationships with local retailers and supply partners, and play an active role in building the operational side of the business as we grow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Identify and develop relationships with local retailers and potential supply partners
• Introduce Kitset's services to prospective partners and help bring new supply partners into the business
• Complete residential and commercial assembly projects from scheduling through completion
• Assemble furniture, fitness equipment, sheds, playsets, and other products
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Kitset professionally in the field
• Help onboard and train future employees and franchise owners
• Maintain quality standards and identify opportunities to improve operations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools
• You enjoy figuring things out and solving problems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable meeting new people, approaching local businesses, and building relationships
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Self-starter who enjoys working independently and taking initiative
• Comfortable traveling throughout Southwest and Central Florida
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
