Rocks Awash In Gloucester Massachusetts ~ phtographic print (PARADISE)

For seven years I lived out on Eastern Point in East Gloucester, Massachusetts. This exposure was taken right in my front yard, shortly after a storm had passed. From an artist’s perspective, the Gloucester shoreline presented endless opportunities for various compositions, and interplay of complimentary colors. The granite bedrock of Gloucester is known for its warm orange tones due to the oxidized iron in the rock with reacts with the salt of the ocean making for a beautiful play of oranges and blues. This photograph has been post-processed to resemble a fine oil painting on canvas. This special effect is especially noticeable in the larger sizes.
