I have a rooster that is about hmm, just over a year old year and a half, and he carries two copies of the blue gene . So if you mix him with a hand that lays blue, all the offspring will lay blue, if you mix him with a chicken that lays a brown egg, the offspring will lay an olive colored egg. I just have too many, and I did have them tested. So here's yeah, it carries the perfect genetic code for people who want colored chicken eggs
