We are looking for an experienced part-time barista to join our new French-inspired pâtisserie and café in Lunada Bay.
This position is primarily needed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Applicants must have open availability on these days for shifts ranging from the morning until approximately 4:30 p.m. We are looking for someone who can begin as soon as next week.
Requirements:
At least one year of barista experience
Must know how to properly steam milk and prepare espresso-based drinks
Open availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy environment
Strong team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Responsibilities include preparing coffee and other beverages, serving and packaging pastries, assisting customers, maintaining a clean work area, and helping with general front-of-house duties.
Compensation is hourly pay plus credit card/ cash tips. Credit card tips can be very good and are paid biweekly through payroll. Tips are pooled each day and divided proportionally among eligible employees based on the number of hours each employee worked that day.
