Rehoming my 1 and a half year old Great Dane.
My other boys have become very aggressive towards him.
He’s very sweet, but takes some time to warm up to strangers. He’s the exact definition of a gentle giant. He looks very intimidating, and he alerts and barks for strangers in the outside but is not aggressive at all. He is around my small female Shih Tzu. Has never been around a small male dog for long periods of time. There was a small male dog roaming around and he didn’t do good around it so I would not suggest a small male dog.
He grew up with my 3 year old. He does not like cats and would probably be off in a home with dogs only.
He loves to go on walks and run free in the desert he does not like to be inside but sometimes likes to come in and hang out. He is not neutered. He would do well in a large backyard or farm or someone who has time for walks. And BIG fences. He will jump us 6 ft-7ft fence with no hesitation
He is around 170 pounds and still growing.
