Beautiful antique oak barrister's/office chair with a wonderfully substantial, solid construction. This is a very heavy, extremely sturdy chair with beautiful aged oak and classic early 20th-century character.
The chair is exceptionally comfortable and has the kind of quality construction that is difficult to find in furniture made today. It has a curved oak back and arms, leather upholstery, and traditional nail head trim.
The oak frame is in good condition and has a lovely natural aged appearance. The leather upholstery has significant wear and deterioration, particularly on the seat/front, and will need restoration or reupholster. The chair is being sold as-is and priced accordingly.
A wonderful piece for someone who appreciates antique furniture, old-world craftsmanship, and solid oak construction. It would also make an excellent restoration project.
