This Buick and the Olympics Years Limited Edition Pin Set will come to you in excellent pre-owned condition and stored over the past 42 years for collectible reasons.
This impressive, framed collection was produced as a limited edition in 1984 under license from the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee and has identified this as Collector Set #2389 of 30,000 produced.
The collection features 20 colorful Stars & Rings Olympic-themed pins of Buick models from each of the Olympic years: 1904, 1908, 1912, 1920, 1924, 1928, 1932, 1936, 1948, 1952, 1956, 1960, 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980 & 1984. According to the original documentation, the pins were artisan-made using the cloisonné process.
The set comes professionally displayed in an aluminum polished brushed gold frame with 20 pins mounted on a navy-blue background pinstriped in gold and under glass and central numbered Olympic plaque. It is ready for display and would make an excellent addition to an Olympic memorabilia, sports pin, or Los Angeles history collection and is entirely giftable.
