The room is 12' x 12' and is fully furnished with a queen bed, dresser, and desk. The complex is very quiet. The apartment is located several blocks up the hill from the Monterey Aquarium.

The bathroom is shared. I'm a male, organized, easy going, healthy, well educated, and well traveled. The apartment is very clean. Towels are included as is the bedding for the queen bed, a desk, and a dresser. No pets.
$120 per night. For Car Week (August 7-16) and special events like golf tournaments and the Jazz Fest weekend (September 25-27), the price will be $150 a night.
* I will send you photos and we can do a Face Time or Zoom to show you the apartment. The landlord does not allow subleasing, so I won't include the photos or address until I know that you have serious interest and I know that you're not connected to the owner - she allows friends to stay for a limited time - so that will be our story.
You can speak with someone who rented the room to run the Big Sur Marathon in April - she can answer questions and let you know about her stay. Another person and her son stayed a few days for Car Week - she can also let you know that it was a nice apartment and experience.
I am also interested in renting the entire apartment and doing a housing swap for places like Napa, Sonoma, Shasta area, New Orleans, Lake Tahoe, Telluride, San Diego, and other amazing cities.
It's a great location. It's a 10 minute walk to Cannery Row and downtown Pacific Grove, and about a 10 minute drive to Pebble Beach and Carmel. The living room has a slight view of the ocean. I have a nice TV and stereo system and fast WiFi, and you'll have full access to the kitchen.
