vocalist looking for post hardcore band (oxnard, ca)

happy to join an existing unit or start something new. big fan and looking to pursue stuff in the vein of: the chariot, every time i die, the carrier, defeater, touche amore, verse, portrayal of guilt, birds in row, fox lake, etc.
used to be in the band Dreamwell in MA. can link some of my old work from that. was writing guitar ocassionally but years out of practice, would prefer to join a band in the songwriting process and work on vocal parts, ideally we work on an EP or LP and maybe play some shows.
not trying to play anything too traditionally punk/metal. specifically looking for the type of stuff i mentioned above all under alt hardcore, melodic hardcore, post hardcore etc.
30 years old and employed, so looking to do this on nights/weekends and have some fun with it with the right people. open to the right group anywhere in socal.
