Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic and ophthalmology surgeries and be confident in maintaining sterile technique and anticipating surgeon needs during procedures.
Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile fields for surgery
Assist surgeons during orthopedic and ophthalmic cases
Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure patient safety
Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
Support turnover between cases and maintain accurate counts
Work closely with nurses, anesthesia staff, and surgeons to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist (orthopedics and ophthalmology required)
Certification: CST preferred (or eligible)
Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic technique
BLS/CPR certification required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR
Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends or nights)
Competitive hourly pay, based on experience
