Hello.
We are looking for a household helper 3-4 days a week, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM (flexible), depending on how much needs to be done. Our assistant of 5 years is moving to Austin in November to pursue her dream of becoming a musician, and we are in the process of finding her replacement. Below is a bullet list of tasks, and I am happy to expand upon them if you are interested.
Daily Tasks
• Let the dogs out of their crate in the morning and put them outside (must be a dog person). Feed and manage in the morning
• Brew coffee
• Put the dishes from last night's dinner in the dishwasher
• Wipe down counters
• Sweep kitchen floor
• Tidy up the family room
• Make a couple of beds
• General pick up and put-away
• Run errands like pick up prescriptions, grocery shop, fill the cars with gas, get cars cleaned, pick up dry cleaning, mail packages and returns, take dog (s) to the vet, etc.
• Manage vendors, make appointments.
Really Great to Have
Cooking: Someone who can cook! I can cook, but I’m sick of it. If it were possible to prepare 2-3 meals a week, either in advance or one-a-day, I would be in heaven. There are only two of us, so you wouldn’t be cooking for a big crew, although we like to entertain every couple of weeks.
Organizing/cleaning: If you enjoy organizing and cleaning, this is the job for you. We DO have a housekeeper come 1x a week, but she’s mainly surface stuff
