Our founding partner is retiring from sailing, and the Partnership is looking for a good candidate to fit the overall spirit of the Partnership. We will be interviewing potential candidates to see if they are a good fit for their overall personality as well as the skills they present. Partnership was created in 2010 and has been a very effective way to provide the joy of sailboat ownership at a very reasonable cost. Our goal is to have a very safe, dependable and clean boat for all the partners and their families to enjoy. We all pitch in to complete maintenance tasks and discuss any improvement projects.
All expenses and maintenance tasks are divided, and each partner contributes with his/her skills to keep the boat in ship shape. We have extensive maintenance and cost records dating to the start of the Partnership. Scheduling is performed using online calendar and we maintain meticulous notes of tasks performed and current parts/supplies inventory.

1995 Hunter 29.5, Shoal draft-wing keel (only 4ft) perfect for Pamlico Sound, Ocracoke and Cape Lookout. She is kept in a slip at the Pecan Grove Marina in Oriental, NC. This is one of the best marinas in Oriental that has 2 swimming pools, security cameras and a pump-out station. In addition, Pecan Grove Marina is one of few places designed for boats to be able to stay at the marina during hurricanes.
If you are not familiar with this boat type she has a very large and airy salon. She sleeps 2 in the V berth, 2 in the aft berth and possibly 2 in the salon. There is a head w/ hot and cold shower and an alcohol stove w/ microwave in the galley. She has a sugarscoop transom (easy to get in and out of the water) and a transom hot and cold water shower to rinse off the salt. The dodger keeps the wind and spray away when sailing close hauled and extends the season by keeping you warm and out of the elements. She also has a bimini top over the helm station to keep the helmsman out of the sun.
Most Hunters of this size and vintage will not have the following equipment (make sure you consider this when evaluating the price):
