Hiring Full Time & Part Time Shifts:
Patrol Drivers - Bicycle / Pay Rate $22.00 / Hour
Shift Supervisors - $26.00 / Hour
Dispatchers - $23.25 / Hour
Candidates with Active Guard Card. Must Bring Guard Card & 8-hour California Power to Arrest (3 hours) - Appropriate Use of Force (5 hours) Certificate at The Time of Interview.
Candidates with no active guard card license, we can assist with the Guard Card Class if you qualify for the open position.

As a Security Officer Mall Center in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail location, you will conduct routine foot and bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors at a retail center by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and assist with the enforcement of property rules, parking requirements, and other site-specific guidelines.
Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
