My name is Jason Segal. Due to my background I look horrible on paper and it isn't an accurate depiction or description of who I am. My background has limited my opportunities and always hope for in person interviews. I majored in Marketing for 3 years with an Industrial Psychology minor. I got clean in 2017 and all in all spent 10 years incarcerated. I learned from my mistakes and they are left in the past where they belong. I worked from Walmart for 3 years, and was #1 in customer compliment/positive customer feedback the entire time. This includes online reviews, but mostly customers speaking to the store manager or my manager to tell them what I did for them. I can't tell you how many of our older customers said, "It's been years since someone carried my groceries for me." I am bilingual as well and many Spanish speaking customers were brought to me as well. I loved my job in the online pickup department. Orders were picked and dispensed to our drivers or customers. This allowed me to develop rapport with our customers. For 9 months I was an Academy Trainer for the salesfloor and I was cross trained in literally all departments in the Walmart Neighborhood Market. I love working grocery. In March 2025 and issue with my direct deposit that wasn't handled in the time I was told led to me raising my voice to a manager and then to my termination. I had no choice but to learn how to handle frustrating situations in a more mature, professional way. I have open availability and would love to talk with you or meet you for an interview. I have strong computer skills, I type roughly 50wpm and am familiar with Microsoft Office. I love learning something new, I learn quickly and do as I'm told. I have open availability and can work at the last minute. I really hope I get to speak with you. Thanks for your time.
