These old soldiers are highly regarded for their build quality as well as for their functioning and aesthetic appeal. The cast-iron is in excellent condition and rust-free. It will take a bit of know-how to make certain that none of the fittings leak, but otherwise, it should work as well as the day it was born. The company made this model between 1920 and 1949, and I should be able to date it exactly with a little research. I'll amend this listing if I find out more. The top measures about 17.5" x 10".
