Looking for reliable, reasonably priced help at a rental property in Ojai. Happy to hire one person for everything or separate trades. Ongoing work for the right person.
GENERAL HANDYMAN (ongoing)
Looking for a competent, all-around handyman to take care of tenant needs as they come up:
- Light electrical (fixtures, switches, outlets, troubleshooting)
- Under-sink plumbing, including reverse osmosis systems
- Light painting and drywall texture
- General troubleshooting and repairs
Must have solid electrical, plumbing and painting skills, and good problem-solving. Living in or near Ojai or Meiners Oaks is a plus.
ELECTRICAL
- Diagnose and repair low-voltage pendant lights over the kitchen island (transformer issue)
- Bedroom ceiling fan: remote/transmitter box not working
PLUMBING
- Replace a leaking bathroom shower valve (Hansgrohe iBox rough-in, thermostatic trim; slow drip from the cartridge)
- Kitchen sink pull-down sprayer: counterweight/hose fix
DRIVEWAY
- Patch a large hole in the asphalt driveway approach (a tree came down and pulled up the pavement)
- Repair a cracked section of the concrete driveway
