Brilliant Event Lighting is adding crew for event setup and removal in North County San Diego. $25-$30/hr depending on experience, paid for every hour on site. Most calls run 6-12 hours.
We are booked solid for the next two months and need dependable people we can call regularly.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Loading/unloading gear from the truck
- Building truss - towers, goal posts, arches, and LED wall frames
- Setting up lighting fixtures, stands, and cable runs
- Hanging draping and helping with staging
- General setup support under the direction of our lead tech
- Teardown and removal at the end of the night
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and be on your feet all day
- Reliable transportation and on time, every time
- Closed-toe shoes, all-black clothing (black t-shirt and pants)
- Positive attitude - you'll be working at a high-end venue around guests and vendors
- Event, AV, stagehand, construction, or general labor experience is a plus but not required. We'll train you on site.
WHERE
Our shop is in Oceanside and much of our work is right here - Carlsbad, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Temecula wine country - plus runs down into San Diego.
