Position Overview
A boutique immigration law practice seeks a detail-oriented and reliable administrative assistant for a short-term assignment through September 30, 2026. This role is dedicated primarily to managing heavy, high-volume document printing and assembly as well as dropping off packages to United States Postal Service.
Key Responsibilities
High-Volume Document Printing: Print and organize documents for case filing
Exhibit Preparation: Index exhibits strictly according to USCIS presentation standards
Quality Control: Review printed petitions to ensure clear print quality, correct pagination, proper tab placement, and missing page prevention.
Shipping & Mail Handling: Organize, label, and securely package physical filings for FedEx/UPS shipment to USCIS service centers; ensure timely drop-offs and track delivery confirmations.
Supply & Equipment Management: Monitor paper and toner inventory; troubleshoot basic printer/copier jams and maintenance.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Prior experience in a law firm, print/copy center, or office administrative role preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat (pdf organization, page numbering), and standard office software.
Attention to Detail: Precision in handling dense paperwork
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift print paper boxes (up to 30–40 lbs) to drop-off at United States Postal Service.
Reliability: Strict commitment to working on-site through the project end date of September 30, 2026.
Compensation
Pay Rate: $25/hour
