Product Description:
Each Tavarua Bamboo Drapery is made with ring grommets to hang the shades from a drapery rod [must be purchased separately - is not provided!]. Each ring grommet is 1 1/2" in diameter and will fit virtually any drapery rod. Draperies 48" or more come as two panels split draw, under 48" they will come as a single panel.
Each bamboo drapery is bound on all four sides with edge binding at no additional charge. This helps protect the woven wood/bamboo drapes from damage as well as add a touch of color to your decor.
Each vertical bamboo drapery comes with two panels for center opening. Due to the weight of the bamboo curtain panels it is expected that the drapery rod will need a center support.
Drape fullness will is size-based & is typically between 30% to 50%, so it will retain its folds when drapery is fully extended. When measuring height on outside mount shades, with recommended standard of a 3/4" gap between the bottom of the bamboo curtains and the floor.
Grommet color: antique brass standard.

Size and shapes of the slats vary and are not "defects"! Spacing of the slats will vary over time. Slight color variations are normal and may change over time and are not considered defects, either! Each shade is considered unique and original.
For complete privacy or light blocking it is strongly recommended that you add a liner to the shade.
Because of the nature of natural woven wood shades liners are recommended for privacy and/or light filtration.

Edge Binding
Edge Bindings are cloth tapes wrapped on the edge of the shades to help prevent fraying as well as adding an elegant look to the shades. Standard edge binding is 1 1/4" wide with approximately 1/2" of fabric showing on each side of the shades.
Wide Edge Binding is 3” wide, with approximately 1 1/2" of fabric showing on each side of the shade.
Privacy Blackout Liner:
Adding additional privacy and light blockage to the shades can be accomplished by adding a thick white liner upgrade to the shades [sticking to the drapes with velcro edges & facing the window side through which sun/light come in]
Cleaning & Maitenance/Upkeep Instructions:
Using a vacuum brush extension ; a feather duster or dry duster
Over time, it is recomemnded Bamboo can [& should] be lightly water mist-sprayed every so often [such as: once a month - depending on drape heat-impacting dryness]
