Looking for Kitchen Family: Bakers, Briners, Bottlers & Big Dreamers Wanted!
Tired of commercial kitchens that feel like renting a storage unit with a stove? Us too.
We’re opening a shared commercial kitchen in the Oakland area and we’re doing it differently. This isn’t a “clock in, keep your head down, pay surprise fees” kind of place. It’s a co-op style kitchen for food makers who want to cook alongside people they actually like and who want to help your business grow.
Here’s how it works:
You pay a flat base rent for your space. Everything else (utilities, cleaning, dishware, shared supplies) is split co-op style based on the hours you actually used that month, straight from the real bills. No padded markups. No mystery line items. Use less, pay less. Simple, fair, and transparent.
Who we’re looking for:
Caterers, bakers, hot sauce wizards, meal preppers, pop-up chefs, jam makers, pickle people, packaged-goods hustlers, and anyone building something delicious. If you clean up after yourself, label your stuff, share the good gossip, and occasionally bring extra samples, you’ll fit right in.
What’s available:
We are aiming to find businesses to build this concept with us, we are still in the planning phase of either renting out space based on 24 hour access anytime you want or by the day or night shift. We will take this with who actually applies.
☀️ Day slots: multiple openings for makers who like to start early.
🌙 Night slots: multiple openings for night owls, late-shift bakers, and anyone who does their best work after dark.
🏢 Full night-time kitchen lease: got a growing operation that needs the whole place to itself? We’re open to leasing the entire kitchen overnight to the right company. Let’s talk.
Why you’ll love it here:
A community of makers to swap tips, share connections, and cross-promote with. Fair, honest cost-sharing. A kitchen that’s run by food people who get it. And yes, probably a monthly potluck. We’re not going to promise that. (We’re going to do it.)
