We’re looking for an experienced part-time host to join the team at Millennium. We’re currently looking to fill Friday and Saturday dinner shifts, with shifts beginning at 3:30 PM and ending no later than 10:00 PM. We also have a Tuesday serving shift available if you have experience and willingness to do both.
Hosting at Millennium is about much more than greeting guests at the door. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, solving puzzles, multitasking, and helping create a smooth experience for both our guests and our team.
Our host needs to be an excellent communicator and team player who can remain calm, positive, and organized under pressure. Responsibilities include:
Communicating daily with the kitchen and service teams.
Ensuring menus are printed and ready for service.
Answering phones and assisting guests with questions and requests.
Managing and mapping reservations to accommodate guest requests while allowing appropriate dining times.
Understanding the importance of allergy information and communicating significant notes clearly to servers.
Knowing when and where walk-in guests can be seated.
Keeping track of where guests are in their meals, both at tables and at the bar.
Helping coordinate seating on our patio.
Anticipating what the team needs and helping service run as smoothly as possible.

We’d love to hear from someone with at least three years of hosting experience, ideally in larger restaurants where they’ve experienced both fast-paced and upscale service. Experience in other restaurant positions is also a plus. We’re a small team and are always interested in cross-training when the right opportunity comes along.
