Our team brings together great food, thoughtful design, and seamless execution to create events that feel distinctive, polished, and personal.
We are looking for a Junior Event Specialist to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with catering, hospitality, or event experience who is creative, highly organized, and excited to continue developing their skills in event planning and production.
The Role
The Junior Event Specialist will work closely with our Lead Event Specialist to support events from the initial inquiry through the planning and production process. You'll help develop proposals, source vendors and equipment, participate in site visits, assist with event design, and make sure the many details behind each event are organized and moving forward.
This position requires someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects at once, and doesn't always wait to be told what needs to happen next.

• Create and update preliminary event proposals.
• Participate in client meetings and venue site visits.
• Assist with developing creative concepts and design decks for events.
• Research, source, and secure vendors based on the needs of each event.
• Request and organize vendor estimates, availability, and supporting information.
• Research and source equipment needed for events, including food and beverage service items, display pieces, décor, and other event-related rentals.
• Communicate with vendors and internal team members to keep event details organized and on schedule.
• Assist with maintaining accurate event information, proposal updates, and planning documents.
• Research new event trends, presentation ideas, products, vendors, and resources.
• Proactively identify missing details, potential challenges, and next steps throughout the planning process.
• Provide additional event production and administrative support as needed.
What We're Looking For
The right person for this role is:
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Creative with a strong interest in event design and presentation.
• Has excellent time management and can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• An independent thinker and problem solver.
• Proactive and willing to take initiative.
• Professional and comfortable communicating with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Collaborative and willing to jump in wherever needed.
• Excited to learn and grow within the catering and events industry.
Preferred Experience
• At least 2 years of experience in catering, event production, hospitality, or fine dining.
• Experience with Total Party Planner (TPP) is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Canva and/or other design software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiarity with Avery design and printing tools.
• Experience sourcing rentals, décor, equipment, or event vendors is a plus.

• Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on event and business needs.
