The BMC Teammachine ALR 01 is an aluminum race bike in the vein of Standert and Cannondale CAADs. It comes with a SRAM Rival AXS (wireless) groupset with a compact crank, 160mm disc rotors, and a 10-36 cassette so you can power on the flats and spin up the climbs. The groupset on its own sells for over $1200. The build is finished with a carbon seatpost, Fizik Aliante saddle, and I also added a Quarq left crank arm power meter.
I don’t race, but I bought this because wanted a quick bike that’s a little bit different, a little bit special. I’ve loved how snappy this bike is, but unfortunately, this frame is just too small for me (shoulda sized up), so I haven’t been able to ride it much and need to let it go. You can find the specific geometry here: https://geometrygeeks.bike/bike/bmc-teammachine-alr-disc-2020/. Mine is a newer year, but the geo is the same.
When I purchased it, I immediately swapped out the wheels and handlebar/stem/saddle. To prep it for sale, I’ve put the original parts back on, so the wheels, tires, saddle, handlebar, stem, and handlebar tape are all brand new.
NOTE: I try to be very fair in the price I set and have always been able to sell things at the asking price as a result. I am not here to make as much as possible. My hope is that somebody who has similar tastes will see this as the fair deal that it is, and we both walk away happy.
