I am selling my 2007 Suzuki DL1000 Vstrom, currently 10,885 miles. I am selling it as I am getting older, for a bike with cruise control, traction control, and one that is lighter for me. This bike is totally set up for comfort, with Sargent seat, highway pegs, Cyclops 38 watt LED bulbs (that are the best lighting I have had on two wheels). The bike has a Lithium battery, Givi top box, Suzuki/Givi panniers, and a ram ball mount over the instrument cluster. What makes this bike a bit special in addition to the super low miles, is the TRE that allows redline in every gear, and the Dynajet Power Commander V that transforms the into a smooth, glitch free, turbine like express. The difference really is amazing. Furthermore all your maintenance needs are taken care of, tires have 500 miles, I changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, sync’ed (balanced) the throttle bodies, flushed the coolant, brake fluid front and rear, and the clutch fluid, and somewhere I have a Kaoko Throttle Lock for the bike. The registration is good until JULY 2027 so that saves cash. These bikes are known to go 150k miles with minimal maintenance, it is ready to head anywhere in the hemisphere, although a skidplate would not hurt. So yes, there are cheaper 1000’s out there, but not with low miles, fully sorted and maintained.
