Grant MasterCraft is a custom millwork and built-ins shop in Novato building cabinetry, closets and casework for homes and commercial clients. We're hiring a shop helper interested in the trade.
Some shop, woodworking, construction or hands-on experience is a plus. Willingness to learn and take direction matters more.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Mill and handle lumber and sheet goods
- Sand, assemble, and prep pieces for delivery.
- Help load, deliver and install on job sites
- Keep the shop clean, organized and safe
- Learn machine setup, joinery, finishing and reading shop drawings
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Reliable, on time, and takes direction well
- Some experience with tools, a shop or a job site (a plus)
- Comfortable with a tape measure and careful, precise work
- Can lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Valid driver's license is a plus
