Looking for a kindhearted female companion to assist a female participant who has intellectual disabilities. She likes to spend the day out in the community. She enjoys going to lunch, joining in community activities such as volunteering and taking classes.
This is a meaningful opportunity to build a supportive relationship while helping someone live an active and engaged life.
Monday-Friday
9:00am-4:00pm
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and coversational engagement
Support participaction in community outings and activities
Encourage independence and personal choice
Provide transportation- Mileage reimbursement
Qualifications:
Postive, patient, and dependable
Ability to communicated effectively in English is required
Fully vaccinated Covid 19
Clean DMV record
Reliable vehicle, that can pass safety inspection
Ability to pass a background check
Abiltiy to lift at least 50#
Expericence working with individuals with developmental disabilites is preferred, but not required.
