Mid-century Duncan Phyfe-style dining table for sale. Very clean, refinished. This table has been in my family since about 1994. We bought it used at an estate sale in San Francisco and was told at the time it was likely a 1930s-era piece. It got a lot of use as our family’s main dining table for about 25 years, hence the refinish. I'm saying it's in "Good" condition because there are some dings here and there on the legs and the underside of the top. But overall it looks great.
I fed some pictures into AI, and got this description: This is a classic mid-20th-century double-pedestal banquet/dining table in the Duncan Phyfe idiom — two urn-turned pedestal columns, each terminating in three reeded/fluted saber legs with brass paw/hoof caps, and a rectangular top with rounded corners and a center leaf join. The fluting on the legs, the ring-turned urn pedestals, and the brass toe caps are all textbook 1930s–1940s "Federal Revival" details — this style was made by dozens of manufacturers during that period, almost always without any explicit "Duncan Phyfe" branding.
With the center leaf, which is included, the length is 74". Local pickup preferred.
