I have a 2 year old australian shepherd, he will be 3 in may, who is extremely reactive to all people, particularly men and is not good at all around children he does not know. He will try to bite men and children although he has never actually bit anyone yet. He was attacked by a bigger dog twice and it has completely changed his temperament and made him extremely fearful of everything. I am no longer able to safely house or manage his needs or put in the work needed to regain his confidence, as i am expecting a baby in two months and I can not afford to do a board and train program with him. He is free to the perfect home, I just want what is best for him, it breaks our hearts to rehome him but he NEEDS an owner who is capable and has time to work with him again and he deserves more than living every day in fear.
You must have a yard, and I will need vet and personal references. No fee for him.
He really is a good sweet boy with his people, and im hoping the right owner can help him get back to his confident sweet self all around as I am failing at it.
He absolutely adores cats, sometimes chases a bit but never is rough with them.
