About the Position
We are hiring a Cabinet Assembler to build custom full overlay and face frame cabinetry in our Northridge shop. You will work from shop drawings and floor plans to assemble precision cabinet units for residential and commercial projects.
What You Will Do
• Assemble full overlay and face frame cabinet boxes, frames, doors, and hardware from shop-fabricated components
• Read and apply shop drawings and floor plans to guide assembly sequencing, component placement, and hardware installation
• Install drawer slides, hinges, door hardware, pulls, and other specified hardware per drawing callouts
• Fit and hang doors and drawer fronts; adjust hardware for proper alignment and operation
• Inspect completed units for squareness, surface quality, and hardware function before release
• Identify and solve fit or alignment problems on the floor without stalling production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each shift
What We Are Looking For
• Demonstrated hands-on experience assembling both full overlay and face frame cabinets: this is a hard requirement
• Ability to read shop drawings and floor plans accurately
• Own hand and power tools required for all candidates
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain quality at a productive pace
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required
Compensation and Schedule
• Compensation based on experience; subcontract rates and employee salary both discussed during the interview
• Schedule and shift details to be confirmed during the interview
